1) Would you like help determining which instrument would best suit you? There will be a free instrument drive Monday, June 16, 2025 10-12 PM at Faith Baptist Church. Reservations are filling up fast, so do not delay in signing up here.
There will be another on July 14, 2025 3-5 PM at Music & Arts Round Rock.
If you cannot make either of these instrument drives, you may also reach out to schedule a private instrument test.
2)SOME BOOK-KEEPING: Whether you have registered already or plan to register in the future, I need you to fill out THIS REGISTRATION FORM FOR ALL CLASSES. Please use THIS FORM for private lessons!
3) Unfortunately, due to issues processing payments recently, CTX Music Academy will be going to a bulk pay system effective immediately. For those who are already on a monthly payment schedule, you may continue until there is an issue processing your payment, you fall out of the grace period, and re-registration must occur. Moving forward, CTX Music Academy *will* be enforcing late fees and NSF charges as laid out in the CTX Music Academy Handbook. If one must re-register, CTX Music Academy reserves the right to charge a registration fee again.
What does this mean? You may choose to pay everything up front at the time of registration, or you may choose to pay $125 to reserve your seat in class and then have the remaining tuition balance for the year paid for by the first rehearsal. You may pay the remaining balance via

be enrolled in other music programs
give the gift of affordable or free music education and become a 2x25 Scholarship donor
One of CTX Music Academy's primary objectives is to provide an affordable quality music education to bring glory to God. Many families in central Texas are unable to afford a music education. Help meet this need by becoming a 2x25 donor today. A $50 monthly contribution is enough to provide full tuition to a qualifying student in need.

In the Bible, God's people are instructed time and again to love God with all of their being. At CTX Music Academy, we believe in the many scriptures that affirm God delights when we worship Him through music. Whether it be made apparent through the Psalms or by the documentation of David's unabashed worship, the Levites worshiping with all their might at the reconsecration of Passover Week under Hezekiah, or by the symphony of Heaven recorded by John in the book of Revelation, let's give thanks to God together: May the LORD enter into our rehearsals and stir us to praise Him with all our might.
Private lessons and band
“Praise the Lord ... play skillfully, and shout for joy.” - Psalm 33:2-3
The passage above speaks specifically of the lyre and voice, but at CTX Music Academy, we believe that other passages such as Psalm 150 referenced at the top of the web page include all manner of musical instrumentation. The Holy Spirit reveals in the passage above, Psalm 33, that we should be skilled musicians, which means we ought to consider how to grow in those musical skills.
The biggest goal of CTX Music Academy is to grow Austin area youth in their musical aptitude, not for their own glorification, but to glorify and bring honor to YHWH for the rest of their lives.
We are currently in the process of evaluating needs, determining locations and times, and bringing on staff who affirm the gospel teachings of Jesus.
To better help us help your children praise our Creator, please fill out the questionnaire below so we make sure we are located as close to you as we can, with a schedule that accommodate as many as possible, in a budget range that considers everyone's needs.
