In the Bible, God's people are instructed time and again to love God with all of their being. At CTX Music Academy, we believe in the many scriptures that affirm God delights when we worship Him through music. Whether it be made apparent through the Psalms or by the documentation of David's unabashed worship, the Levites worshiping with all their might at the reconsecration of Passover Week under Hezekiah, or by the symphony of Heaven recorded by John in the book of Revelation, let's give thanks to God together: May the LORD enter into our rehearsals and stir us to praise Him with all our might.

The passage above speaks specifically of the lyre and voice, but at CTX Music Academy, we believe that other passages such as Psalm 150 referenced at the top of the web page include all manner of musical instrumentation. The Holy Spirit reveals in the passage above, Psalm 33, that we should be skilled musicians, which means we ought to consider how to grow in those musical skills.
The biggest goal of CTX Music Academy is to grow Austin area youth in their musical aptitude, not for their own glorification, but to glorify and bring honor to YHWH for the rest of their lives.
